Kommuninvest has revised its funding forecast for 2021. The volume of long-term funding (maturities longer than one year) is now expected to be SEK 120-130 billion. The initial forecast for the year was set at SEK 120-140 billion.
Funding will, depending market conditions, be done in Kommuninvest´s strategic markets: SEK, USD and EUR.
– The adjustment is mainly due to the fact that we now foresee slightly lower lending growth than previously expected. Extensive state support in connection with the Corona pandemic has in the short term created a situation where many municipalities and regions show strong results and dampened borrowing needs, says Christian Ragnartz, Head of Debt Management at Kommuninvest.
