Kommuninvest welcomes a new member: Täby municipality. Following this addition, Kommuninvest Cooperative Society has 293 members: 279 municipalities and 14 regions.
Täby is a municipality where issues such as active business life, freedom of choice and stable and cost-effective financing of the municipality’s activities are central. In that perspective, membership in Kommuninvest became a logical choice.
– We are happy that we now are members of Kommuninvest and are looking forward to the collaboration. Täby is a low-tax municipality with high quality in welfare. The municipality will be developed on Täby residents’ terms where preschools, schools and the care of our elderly are priority activities, says Erik Andersson (M), Chairman of the Municipal Board.
– To have Täby municipality on board is very good news indeed. This makes Kommuninvest yet a little stronger. The more members we become, the more we can achieve in our financial collaboration. That this addition also increases Kommuninvest’s footprint in the Stockholm area is valuable for the society, says Göran Färm, Chairman of the Board of Kommuninvest Cooperative Society.
