Local government debt 2016

The report series “Local government debt”,
first published in 2013, portrays the development
of local government investment and debt.
The data on which the reports are based are
unique since both investment and debt are analysed
from a group perspective. This means
that operations conducted under company formats
are also included in the data. Accordingly,
the relationship between the trend in investment
volumes and borrowing in the local
government sector is elucidated at both the
national and local levels.
