No change to funding forecast for 2026: SEK 170–190 billion
Following a new evaluation and updated analysis, Kommuninvest has decided that the funding forecast for 2026 will remain unchanged at SEK 170–190 billion.

Swedish public sector
Sweden's welfare system is largely supported by municipalities and regions. The Swedish municipalities (290) and regions (21) provide vital services to citizens, such as healthcare, housing, education and childcare.

Funding
The objective of Kommuninvest's borrowing is to provide cost-effective and stable financing to Kommuninvest's members. A key to succeeding in this is long-term investor relationships.
